Born in 1971 in Memphis, Cecil is a veterinarian, and acts as the doctor for people of the Island as well as the Gardeners. At the beginning of the Fall, his surgery is ransacked by people looking for medicine, who killed the animals under his care before stealing everything he had. Having nothing left for him in Memphis, Cecil began wandering across the country, eventually finding the Island.
